Thank you Pankhuri Vanjani, @[email protected] and JdeRobot! Also, happy to share that my Bachelor's Project under Prof. Leena Vachhani at IIT Bombay was also accepted at the ROS Conference 2021 Lightning Talks. Link: vimeo.com/635607300#t=20… Open Robotics #ROSWorld2021

Also, it apparently took DARPA's professional humans about one hundred hours (!) to create a high-fidelity map of the SubT course. The robots from Team CSIRORobotics were able to autonomously match that map with a deviation of less than 1% in one single hour.

A team of CMU Robotics Institute researchers have designed a system that makes an off-the-shelf quadruped robot nimble enough to walk a narrow balance beam — a feat that is likely the first of its kind. bit.ly/41aikJH

More coming shortly! The team has been working very hard in the background. Entirely trained in simulation with RL. Many optimizations and fixes have been put in place in our sim-to-real training code. The cable is there in case of a fall (not actually holding the bot) since
