Researchers in Steve Long have proven in a model crop that an increase in mesophyll conductance can be engineered, & that it leads to an increase in photosynthesis. Their work was published in the Plant Biotechnology Journal. DOI: doi.org/10.1111/pbi.14… News story: bit.ly/3UDLkJk
