As I watch some politically radicalized extremists being elected around B.C I am reminded of the 2018 #prorep debate in which we were told the first past the post system is the best system for preventing this from happening. Turns out that argument was pure rubbish. #bcpoli

Controversial opinion (apparently): Disabled people should be able to afford luxuries on top of just surviving. A new phone, clothes, the chance to go to a concert, etc. We deserve to live. Not just survive.

NEW - BC Ombudsperson Jay Chalke has begun an investigation following complaints school districts are excluding K to 12 students due to disruptive or unsafe behaviour, or inadequate resources devoted to adequately support the student’s learning in the school. #bcpoli

This investigation is much needed. When the Ombudsperson investigated complaints in the Seniors Care sector it led to the creation of the BC Seniors Advocate. We need at least the equivalent for the BC K-12 education system (along with adequate funding).
