Hi friends. We are in hibernation mode. No signs of spring..... sigh

Kia Mia Bundled and cuddled. He is favoring the hip with the tumor a bit but otherwise normal. The vet saw him a wk ago. Best is to keep him comfortable. Age and the type of cancer preclude interventions which would not likely change the outcome. Kia has always had cherry eye.

When Mums gets crickets at the pet store for the salamander, I get a new toy. Hurry up and eat the crickets salamander. I can never have enough toys.

Salamander has stayed under the rock for much of winter. When the cricket container is opened she/he pops out for a bite.

For those following Kia... He is favoring his right rear leg now. You can see the whole area under the brown fur where he sits is the tumor. He is not showing any other signs of discomfort. Daisy does not let him out of her sight. He doesn't seem to mind her attentiveness.

We are tucked in. Nite.

When Mums calls... I AM HERE!

It has taken time to share this news. Even tho we knew Kia had cancer we were not ready when he became very ill one wknd last month. His suffering escalated quickly and we had to say goodbye. Mums took it hard. Our little pack Maxwell, Austin and Kia are together again 🌈🌈🌈

There is a sweet fluffy dog on the other side of our fence. Everytime he comes out to take care of business we have to bark like we have never seen this dog before.... So technically.... we are in a time out now 🙄
