In September while economic sentiment fell across the EU, the best ever result was reported among Malta's businesses and consumers, with sentiment 20% above the historical average. Our progressive choice to protect our economy from shocks continues to deliver. - RA

Welcomed PM Andrej Plenković at Castille ahead of tomorrow’s 🇲🇹 MED9 Summit. Our discussions were fruitful, focusing on our ongoing partnership and exploring more potential trade collaborations between both nations. - RA

In Malta for the #MED9 Summit. The Mediterranean holds vast opportunities, especially for the green transition. It is also home to shared challenges. So we need to join forces with our Southern neighbors. Deeper cooperation across both shores of the sea will benefit us all.

Positive meeting with Ursula von der Leyen on our way to Gozo. Our discussions primarily revolved on economy, energy & migration. Today holds special significance for 🇲🇹 as we host the MED9. Cooperation is key to ensure that the realities of the Med region are taken into account. - RA

My pleasure visiting the investment at Nadur school with Ursula von der Leyen. This project, centered around sustainability, is equipping our children with the skills for the future. Geography should not hinder success, which is why Gozo is receiving a greater share of EU funds. - RA

Good discussion and a clear common ambition at MED9 to improve our collective management of migration in the Mediterranean. In particular by supporting Member States with crisis response, and structured approaches through reinforced partnerships with our southern neighbourhood.

As of last night, the façade of San Anton Palace has been lit in green to raise more awareness about #mental #health. The façade of this Presidential Palace will remain lit until 14th of October.
