Mission accomplished - just!!!! I stopped the clock in 54:59, equalling my age with just a second to spare. Celebrating with a beer now.

Two years today since I finished my run around the world at the Sydney Opera House. Makes me feel like doing it all again.

Still in transit. Looks like my Sydney to Fort Lauderdale journey will take 50 hours in total. That's a lot of time in planes and airports.

On my way home after my win in the Icarus 12 hour ultra race. The 30C temp and 96% humidity limited me to 108 km, but it was still pleasing.

1st place in the marathon in 3:27:50. Full report in the blog tomorrow.

Took it easy over the final two hours and finished with 114 km in 11:56. Feeling tired now.

Placed 2nd in the King Island 32 km race in 2:30:10. Felt good and ran negative splits (77 and 73 mins respectively). Off to celebrate now.

Very tired after 143 km and 6,000 feet of ascent into a headwind. Bad internet tonight, so looking to publish a post tomorrow.
