Congrats to our guy Sam Vitale on committing to Oakland Track & Field/XC! A winner in so many ways. 8th in his class with over a 4.0 GPA Regional championships, league championships, team state finals streak, individual all-region, all-conference & more. A huge part of our history.

Beyond proud of this guy. One of the greatest competitors I’ve ever coached and probably ever will. A great kid and deserving of this opportunity for all he represents.

Shoutout to the coaches who treat their athletes like their own kids. Happy Father’s Day!

#Lions Pro Bowl rookie TE Sam LaPorta, who suffered a bone bruise and hyperextended knee, is trending in the right direction to play vs the #Rams, per me and Tom Pelissero. Very limited in practice, LaPorta will likely wear a brace. But he intends to be out there with his team.
