A1 - I think it's definitely experience (for now). There just isn't any certification that has a combo of law, tech and PMP. Certifications from each of those will only give the candidate part of what's needed for successful LPM. #LPMHQ

A2 - Do people think it's important that the candidate has a legal degree OR is it more important that they've practiced law? I feel that experience is more important than having the degree. #LPMHQ.

A3 - Top leadership at the firm needs to be comfortable and wants to embrace changes. Unless there's that buy-in at the top, projects won't succeed even if you have a very effective LPM. #LPMHQ

A4 - I think the transferable skills are soft skills: relationship management, communication etc. From law to LPM, it's also more about the knowledge and experience from practice that's most useful. #LPMHQ

A5 - I think the type of LPM work, since the industry is still loosely defined, will change depending on firm size (and therefore resources and expertise available). #LPMHQ
