Learning from a small number of examples is a weak point for humans too - but it can probably be attained by a mixture of daydreaming and physics simulation. Training on synthetic data is a broadly-similar idea.

The video of Trump air-dropping feces on protesters is a natural experiment which indicates how experienced people are at identifying fake videos. It turns out that a lot of people are not very good at this type of task at all.
