Labels putting out your LP only digitally is the equivalent of movies skipping the theaters and going straight to streaming. With all the implied disappointment for creators. This point is so obvious that this is just a confession of how dumb I am not to have realized it sooner.

I've come to realize the most boring answer a musician can give to: "What you working on atm?" "Just composing new stuff for my next LP." is 100% the most exciting answer, artistically. Most people just want to hear about the razzle dazzle Hollywood Bowl gig, tours, ...

Think about how little the language designers care about you if this is not a syntax error and they expect you to find this on your own: if (x = 0) { ...launch the nukes... } How you people work in #Javascript w/o hard, hard drugs is beyond me.

If you write multi movement works where the suite has a title and the mvmts have individual titles, how do you represent that on your albums (physical, digital)? What if the suite is included alongside other works? Judd Greenstein John Supko Charlie Looker kelly moran

The most punk rock, anti-establishment, downright ballsy musical act in current America must certainly be the subway mariachi band dudes. Imagine having the guts.

Composers probably work on the endings of their pieces the most? If you don't like the end of your song the whole thing quite certainly sounds like a waste of time.

"Karma Chameleon" is such a great example of pop's frequent contradictions. Boy George was so genre-pushing in style and sexuality while their signature jam is such harmonica-riffin, milk toast elevator soft rock. So many examples of this. No shade, just sayin.
