I've found out that my grant got cut because I posted a video of me standing up out of my wheelchair on social media. They used my public facing social media, which I use to awareness to the fact that people have varying conditions, to push me out of work. I am actually in pieces

The NORTHERN 🚆 app with Apple/Google Wallet integration saves a lot of printing! Might be helpful if OpCo apps linked directly to #PassengerAssist app, rather than having own accessibility booking approach, especially when booking a journey across multiple operators.

Nice to see that NORTHERN 🚆 have their property development priorities right 😁🍻 Wish they’d install similar at my home station of #Roose!

I’m not a scaffolding specialist. Lego at best, maybe a bit of Meccano? But surely, surely, it would be possible to do better than this at Lancaster Avanti West Coast? Rather than blocking wheelchair access from platform 4 to the waiting room…

Any wheelchair users heading to McDonald's UK #CanningTown, be aware that the lift is broken. You will need to order at the auto tills, and then shout to the serving counter…

Hello NORTHERN 🚆 I have just arrived at Barrow to catch “train” (rail replacement coach), to Manchester. Guess what? Coach doesn’t have a lift. Not accessible. Your transport coordinator is arranging a suitable taxi: ✅ Ongoing disability discrimination: ❌ 🤬🤬

Met at the station this morning by these cheery NORTHERN 🚆 facts for #Cumbria and #Lancashire Over 600 trsins short-formed. Nearly 1000 cancelled. On time? About 50%. And that’s only the last month! 😞

Hello NORTHERN 🚆 Mixed messages today… FYI, Lancaster -> Whitehaven passenger services ALWAYS call at Barrow 😂 Some confusion between Northern website, Northern app and JourneyCheck website today. And it seems no-one has told Realtime Trains what is going on either 😳

Now what is going on NORTHERN 🚆? I’m at Roose, still waiting for the 11:51 to Manchester. Your app says it’s cancelled. Northern JourneyCheck says it’s 10 minutes late. It’s now 20 minutes late, and no sign of it.

This image, shared by Gladiators zone, made me smile. I have no idea who they are, nor whether I should agree with any of their posts. But this was a nice, positive image for me. After a life of amazing experiences, it struck a chord 🙂

The beauty of #MorecambeBay is clear, despite the filthy windows on NORTHERN 🚆 unit 156481. This train desperately needs a clean!

Hello London North Eastern Railway I’m a wheelchair user on your 10:28 Edinburgh -> Aberdeen service. The onboard announcer says “scan QR code to order refreshments to your seat”. But your online system says “We are not taking orders right now”… So is this a long, parched journey to Aberdeen?

Aboard the CrossCountry Trains train from Aberdeen to Penzance. Beautiful weather; amazing scenery. Unfortunately I won’t really be able to share the views as the windows on 221124 are absolutely filthy!

Yesterday I travelled with CrossCountry Trains from Aberdeen to Penzance. Filthy windows aside (restricting photography), it’s a grand journey with great crew looking after first class. Boarding at Aberdeen took 20 mins while train and station staff debated who did wheelchair ramp..

Hello Avanti West Coast, hope you are well? I’m on the Birmingham New Street (16:05) to Lancaster (18:06). When Birmingham New Street put me on the train, they didn’t know accessible toilet in carriage D was out of service. As a wheelchair user, this is a bit awkward.

Good morning NORTHERN 🚆, Your guard seems to think that this is an acceptable way to cram luggage around a wheelchair. Luggage was on first, and guard was extremely reluctant to get people to move for the chair (it’s not mine; my power chair is out of shot to the right).

Hello NORTHERN 🚆! Just loving the feedback QR code in the accessible toilet at Manchester Oxford Road 🤣🤣 And no, this isn’t photoshopped or edited.

Great to see SW Lakes District today at Dock Museum telling people about all the great things that Cumbria Scouts get up to!
