Kubernauts, I need your help! Who are the funniest people in our community? Those folks whose talks you know you have to go to because they are always a riot? Please reply by DM

Real discussion in my house today: Kid 1: I saw an ad for Trump today, talking about Malala. Me: Do you mean Kamala? Kid 2: Yeah, why would Trump be talking about a Disney princess? Me: Do you mean Moana?

14yo is learning to do their own laundry. "Hey dad, I accidentally put too much..., I mean not like the max..., nevermind you don't need to worry about it." Ok, so now I am worried about it.

My home PC is about 17 years old and you know what? It's fine. The only things I wish were better are more memory (maxed at 12 Gi) and boot from NVME. It's an old Westmere class CPU with ECC, which, as far as I can tell, no desktops do anymore. Maybe I'll hold it a bit longer

"Your request for access has been approved. Please note that it may take one business day for the access to propagate through the systems." Whuuuuuuut is going on? Is this 1996?

CEL is weird. Rather than some `if` construct: if(test1, expr1, expr2) && if(test2, true3, false4) or switch: switch(input, cond1: (expr1), cond2: (expr2)) we end up with: (!test1 || expr1) && (!test2 || expr2) Takes some getting used to.

Idea: get a cyber truck, and bolt a bunch of crap onto it and distress it to look like the millennium falcon. It still wouldn't be a good car, but at least I could take "what a hunk of junk" as a compliment.

DevOps is hard because we know what we want to do but often struggle with the how; i.e. the “right magic words” to achieve our intent. With Foyle and runme you can let AI solve the how. Here’s a post showing how that works. future.mozilla.org/builders/news_…

It's always sad when someone you follow because they used to have awesome posts has gone down a weird rabbit-hole, and you don't want to follow. Do you unfollow or just ignore?

I'm super excited about my KubeCon NA "talk" -- we're going to play a game of Kubernetes "Family Feud" live and unscripted on the keynote stage. For all of you who plan to sleep in on Friday, don't miss this! It might work or it might flop - either way it will be hilarious!

Half of this country is out of its goddamned mind. One of us is wrong. I think it's you, but I hope it's me. Taking a (very possibly permanent) break from Xitter. See you on the butterfly site.
