Governor Josh Green just signed a law (SB2575) banning down deep-sea mining in Hawai’ian waters and prohibiting any permits for these activities.  This is a huge victory for the islands, especially considering Hawai’i’s proximity to the Clarion-Clipperton zone. #DefendTheDeep
