As the door was slightly open Barbara heard some kind of a song Dick was humming while taking a shower. She grinned,it felt like if they returned to the past even though it wasn’t like that. Ginger left two steaming cups to cool down a bit and made herself comfortable on a sofa

Barbara smiled looking at her ex-partner and friend. It was nice to spend some time together after such a long time “You know that you can come here anytime Dick,I will always be there for you. And coffee is already waiting”

“Well I am not too sweet Dick,this is the least I can do for you. Because you know I still care about you” She stretched a little and closed her eyes listening to the sounds of the city. The door at her balcony was was open

A dim light of the room..a lonely figure almost fell into a softness of a large armchair..it was such a long journey and she was finally home. “Well hello Gotham,is there anyone who missed me?” A curious grin appeared in the corner of redhead’s lips.

Red sits on the windowsill waving her leg in the air,a smirk appeared in the corner of her lips “Seems like someone has great plans for tonight”

She would turn to her sexy partner so that he aquamarine eyes would meet those deep blue. “I have never seen you coming out all prepared just to grab something to eat” Barbara grinned teasing Dick

Barbara chuckled and shook her head “You know sometimes you spend more time in front of the mirror than I do. When the only thing you need to do is to smile or wink and ladies will lay in front of you” she grinned playfully “I missed you,too,Dick. Haven’t been around lately”

Red would slowly come up to her friend until stopping a few inches from him “Nah never complained but there is one thing” she grinned and tousled his hair “Now you look way better” Barbara laughed a little feeling good after such a long time

She returned after a long journey and found Batman sitting in front of his computer in deep thoughts like always. Barbara would quietly come up from behind and placed a hand on his shoulder “A cup of coffee will be nice,don’t you think so?”Red placed a mug in front of him

She sighed and shook her head. Reserved and deeply in his thoughts as always “Yeah,I have finally finished everything I needed to do and I finally came back home” A gentle smile appeared on her lips even though Bruce paid all his attention to the screen

“Another long busy night Jay?” Red asked leaning against the wall covered half in the shadow

Barbara smiled understandably. “It seems that Joker and Penguin are partners. I saw them meeting a few times and discussing something about drugs,overseas partners and Gotham. I would advise you to be careful”

“Guess they would believe the second without any doubts”smirks

Red chuckled a little and raised her hands up “Sorry,sorry never intended to offend you”

She made a move zipping her mouth. It was dangerous to play these games with Joker but somehow it was kinda funny. “My apologies”

Barbara shrugged smiling “Never knew this side of you,Mr.J. Where all this generosity comes from?”

Barbara looked inside and made a face before rolling her eyes “For real,Mr.J? I know you are not a fan of people having fun but it is Christmas anyway”

Barbara smiled looking at him not impressed at all “Oh I consider you as a very important partner but I doubt those chopped legs would increase a number of stocking. People will place them anyway waiting for some kind of a miracle”

“Oh I actually can join if you insist” Grins

Barbara rolled her eyes “Don’t ask me why children are crying after that. You know it looks kinda creepy”
