Osprey in front of Salisbury Cathedral! 😄 There have been two hanging around in the Avon valley for weeks (not nesting). Could they be Birds of Poole Harbour birds wandering? Couldn't tell if either were ringed, but one bird had distinctive dark central tail-feather.

Pics can't do justice to how cute and fuzzy this Slime-mould was in New Forest today. Also saw my first ever nectaring Clearwing - a Red-tipped, on Water Mint.

Though the Salisbury Plain is all special, I particularly love the quiet, lightly wooden corners.
