Well done to all that travelled in these conditions, despite being up in the heavens you were all that could be heard on the tele. A just reward for making that trip.

One thing I'm loving is Keith Andrews not being afraid to put players on the bench when it's needed. Thomas would've never benched Collins. Hendo has had to drop down at times and Dams now too.

I'll say this about Newcastle fans, 1 or 2 have been royally rattled by us beating them and defrauding them of £55 million but the large majority have been very gracious and more concerned with what's going at St James Park. The same cannot be said of fans of other clubs however.

Honestly, it's a joke and that's having the decision go in our favour. They are destroying the game in pursuit of perfection. The player cannot score with any deemed offside and it's so marginal you can't tell me they can be 100% certain at what point the ball is played.

Don't think I'd be going on a VAR rant after two go in our favour today but come on people, it's a cancer on the game. Refs too afraid to make a decision, 5+ mins to micro analyse a decision and absolutely killing any atmosphere. Just on today... #Bees #twitterclarets

VAR will get involved in corners at the World Cup. Refs aren't reffing the games anymore, matches are dragged out and no one is left happy. If it means we drop points today then so be it, it'll even out but just let the beautiful game be what it was. #Bees #Burnley

If you want a non Burnley v Brentford example of how utterly useless VAR & modern refereeing is then just look at the Bournemouth game. An absolute howler of a decision to not award a penalty fails to be overturned. If the ref doesn't have VAR as a back up. He gives that all day.

We're going to be denied a Spurs relegation because West Ham are a basket case of a club.

Take a point there. Bournemouth ate a decent side on an unbeaten run and a point away is not to be sniffed at.
