Mississippi Republicans banned abortion.   A 13 year-old girl was playing outside her home when she was raped. She was forced to become a mom before she started 7th grade.   Republicans are pretty good at hiding from these stories – I won’t let them.

The pill is not only used in the majority of abortions, it is extremely safe and used very EARLY in pregnancy.

Mifepristone, a medication used in half of the abortions in our country, is safer than penicillin, Tylenol, and Viagra. It’s also safer than childbirth.

Fun fact: Every government shutdown in the last 30 years occurred when Republicans had control of the House of Representatives. Last time it happened, it drove people to food pantries and forced an $8b hit to the economy. They treat people missing paychecks like it’s no big deal
