LG phones running Android 8.0 have an issue whereby the query we pass to Android during initial sync doesn't return all messages. It's an LG bug specifically. We are seeing if we can find a workaround. Note: Textra uses it's own database for performance so needs to sync across.

All apps from Nov 1 must adhere to new Android rules. See developer.android.com/distribute/bes… The thing we are getting complaints about is the removal of colored notif icons 😂 However *no app* on the planet once they issue an update after Nov 1 can offer colored notif icons. #impossible

Textra SMS having trouble with SMS so emailed your help account and now they are telling me to download QKSMS from the play store? Is that standard protocol? Why can't I troubleshoot with the default Android messages app?

Delayed texts, not arriving at all. Here's what we have found out. It's something Google have just rolled out (in error I suspect), impacts other SMS/MMS apps too, not specific to Textra. This is the 'fix' open Google Play, search for Messages (by Google) and press Enable.

.Apple, until Google make RCS open (APIs available to developers like SMS is) on Android then DONT do anything, it'll be a completely closed system with Google on Android then. #GetTheMessage
