Day 14 #coeliacawarenessmonth “There’s lots of gluten free foods available these days” (or variation of) is a phrase only ever uttered by a person without coeliac disease 😂

Day 15 #coeliacswarenessmonth Surprising things that contain gluten: vinegar, soy sauce, brown sauce, jerk sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Marmite 😭😭…it’s not just bread that needs to be avoided

Day 24 #coeliacawarenessmonth My amazing students made sure all the goodies they bought to say thank you to the teaching team were #glutenfree! They are truly inclusive practitioners and I cannot express how touched I was-people with CD are so often left out of foody celebrations

It’s the last day of #coeliacawarenessmonth - let’s recap! Coeliac is an autoimmune disease. Gluten free products typically cost more & taste worse. Lack of awareness of cross contamination risks is a huge problem. Feeling left out of food events has psychological implications!

The roof leaked,the windows were draughty or painted shut,the temperature was only 25° or -5°, it a slightly musty smell and we had to rescue students looking for room numbers that made no sense. I was based in 4 different offices in Bredon (1 of them twice). Kinda miss it!😢
