Our LA County Sheriffs family received sorrowful news. Deputy Pedro Romo, a 25yr veteran of #LASD, passed away yesterday from a COVID related illness. He transferred to @SCVSheriff in 2004 & has been Valencia High School's SRO for the last 13yrs. Please keep his loved ones in your prayers.

Anthony Avalos was tortured and murdered by his mother and her boyfriend (who stabbed another inmate while awaiting trial). The DA’s new directives will remove the Death Penalty. The Avalos family will be victimized once again as they try to seek justice for Anthony!

Wage theft can be perpetrated against employees at any income level. Wage-theft victims are often some of the most marginalized Los Angeles County residents.
