Yesterday we had an interesting workshop with our Techforce1 colleagues on Large Language Models (LLMs) led by Sander Kerkdijk. These models are changing the game in AI, transforming how we communicate and work with data. A workshop that gives you food for thought! #LLMs #AI

Throwback: today we had a virtual tech talk during lunch. In Corona time, we had these talks because there was no other way to share knowledge. Today we had one because we can. VIM and Velero were the topics! Great to get to know these tools better and make use of them even more!

Last Friday we looked back on 2023, together with our colleagues and their partners. It was a great year with many technical challenges, interesting projects and much fun during socials and other meetings. We had a blast @landgoedgrootwarnsborn. A great end to a fantastic year!

Yesterday we had a Techforce1 meetup about Go, given by our colleques Ron Boortman & Zino Onomiwo. The workshop was a dive into the world of Go programming language. "What is GoLang? Why would you want to learn/use GoLang? What are the strengths and features of GoLang?"

After our Techforce1 meetup we had a little playtime during a fencing clinic given by Break Schermclinics. We are all ready for the Olympic Games at Paris now.

#Techforce1 had an amazing time at A. Kubec Paris, catching up with the latest innovations and insights in the world of Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies. We attended inspiring talks and left the conference with a lot of interesting perspectives. #Kubernetes #cloudnative

Saturday we had a #Techforce1 activity together with all the partners of our colleagues. We had a great night @ Scala | foodbar & theater in Amsterdam. With really good food, performances and lots of laughs because of Thom Gerrits, Devin Hillenius and @RubevanTienen.

Workshop #Techforce1: This week we had our Pulumi workshop. Our colleagues Marco van Kimmenaede and Jeroen Admiraal talked about the possibilities of this upcoming technology. Great session and interesting to see how it compares to things like, for example, hashtag#Terraform!

#Techforce1 boardgame day: last Saturday we had our boardgame day in Arnhem. Spelkwartier was so kind to host our 2024 session! We had a real good time playing Dungeons and Dragons, and several other board games. We are already looking forward to the next one!

Last Thursday we hosted our 6th and annual internal conference. A fantastic day which we hosted together with our other labels @FortWierickerschans. Items on the agenda: a.o. Talos & Cillium, JavaScript Module Systems & build tools, Machine Learning & AI, Pulumi etc.

Workshop #Techforce1: Functional Programming (with #Haskell). Ron Boortman and Lennart van der Garde prepared an interesting workshop on functional programming specifically with Haskell. A nice way to discover new concepts.

Because soft skills are just as important as technical expertise, we organized a social skills session last Monday. Akerendam provided us with valuable insights to further enhance our skills. To round off the day, we enjoyed a BBQ workshop at the BBQ Experience Center.

Recently, we had a Christmas dinner at @KasteelKerckebosch in #Zeist. It was a wonderful evening where we reflected on 2024 and, of course, looked ahead to the coming year. We hope you had an amazing year, and on behalf of #Techforce1, we wish you a healthy and successful 2025!
