When I first started getting interested in tea, I signed up to every tea newsletter from every interesting brand I could find. Now, some years later, I can tell you 99% are crap. All sales, no good content hook. I'm unsubscribing from most of them now.

Japan's biggest problem is its ageing population and the fact youth tend to gravitate towards the cities, so farming for tea production gets doubly hit. Glad to see some innovation from the young 'uns (44yo!) coming through. theworld.org/stories/2024/0…
