Every child does deserve to feel comfortable in a changing room. 100% The standard practice in trans affirming policies around changerooms and washrooms is: If a student is uncomfortable changing in a space with a trans peer, they are provided an alternative space to change.

The solution in this case is not to say: "You are uncomfortable so the person who is just EXISTING has to leave." The solution is: "You do deserve to feel comfortable when it comes to undressing, so here is a private space you can do that in."
