クジラの長寿の謎に迫る ホッキョククジラは体の大きさにも関わらず、がんが少ないらしい。このメカニズムとしてDNA修復能力を高めていることを発見(ゾウなどとは異なるらしい)。特にCIRBPという因子が重要で、この強制発現でハエでも長寿命に。 nature.com/articles/s4158…
