It is interesting how many see no discrepancy between thinking all their achievements are due to their personality and attributing all negative experiences to their identity.

Maybe “educate yourself” has become a predictable retort because it’s easy to spread lies when you ask people to prioritise what they’ve read over what they can observe.

Lese und höre gerade oft, man müsse abrüsten, Armeen reduzieren und Waffen vernichten. Ich kann diesen Impuls verstehen, halte solche Wünsche aber jetzt, in diesem Moment, für unpassend. Es wäre nicht nur ein falsches Signal, es wäre hochgradig gefährlich für unsere Sicherheit.
