In iOS 26 when a contact is sharing their location with you, you can no longer view their location on a map straight from iMessage by clicking their name at the top of the conversation, you need to use FindMy 🤦‍♂️

We’ve just been told that Apple is planning to greatly expand the Apple Developer Forums by adding Discussions – a new way for them to reach out to developers through live streams and Q&A. Coming soon! 🎉

I have a WidgetKit lab and an EventKit lab today, I have a few questions for each but I will probably have extra time. If you have any questions, drop them in the replies and I’ll try to get an answer.

Xcode 26's #SwiftUI API files have a combined 26,000 lines of diffs, but most is noise. We'll take the meaningful bits, use an LLM to generate stubs, then begin implementing important APIs for #Android! Of course your Swift will get the updates to Foundation, etc for free

have questions about some of the announcements made at #WWDC25? Apple is organizing events in various European cities over the next couple of months, beginning with London, Paris, and Stockholm! (June 23-27th)

This is an unfair claim, the Swift language as a whole is great. It’s these niche parts (AppIntents) that are so abstract and complicated.
