Great to be out this morning with Gower Conservatives & Swansea University Conservatives campaigning on behalf of our excellent candidates in Mumbles & Bishopston including @WillyTWales and Lyndon Jones MBE
Tourism in #Wales would be devastated if the Welsh Government imposes its tourism tax because jobs and businesses would be hammered. We urgently need to help businesses, not grind them into the ground. More from myself and Tom Giffard MS. 👇 express.co.uk/travel/article…
People across 🏴 want a thriving tourism sector that creates jobs, wealth and a vibrant economy. The proposed tourism tax is not the answer and would devastate the sector. Bang on from Peter Fox OBE MS & Tom Giffard MS
Swansea's Labour Council is simply incapable of putting the interests of the people of Swansea ahead of the interests of the Labour Party. So if you want a strong, local champion that is on your side, you need to support your Welsh Conservatives 🏴 candidate in Swansea tomorrow.
Today is polling day! It’s been a great few months campaigning across South Wales West with our excellent Welsh Conservatives 🏴 candidates. The one thing they all have in common is they have a real passion for the communities they seek to represent. Make sure you support yours today!
There were some bright spots - good to see 7 councillors returned in Swansea. Particularly pleased to have a councillor now in Clydach & all 3 in Mumbles. Credit to Lyndon Jones MBE for his fantastic leadership of the Conservative Group in Swansea.
🇬🇧It was a pleasure to attend Neath’s flag-raising ceremony today in advance of #ArmedForcesDay this Saturday. 🎖This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War and we will remember all those impacted by the conflict. Welsh Conservatives 🏴
Thanks to Robert Buckland for popping down to Oxwich, Gower to meet with local tourism businesses to discuss the issues affecting the sector. Top of the agenda was Labour's hare-brained scheme for a tourism tax, which would punish businesses right across Gower!
