Had a really great conversation with Grant The Conrad Prebys Foundation, definitely feel honored to be the first guest on Stop&Talk which I think will shape up to be an outstanding podcast

Today's Nobel is a reminder to focus on the work and not the journal. The key publications cited by the committee were published in Immunity, Molecular Therapy, and Nucleic Acids Research. Respectable journals, but not the Big 3. The discoveries are what's important, not a name.

Fantastic work by @PassosLab Hanna Salmonowicz Stephen Tait and others. Thanks for including us. Now we have at least 3 cytoplasmic DNAs to think about in senescence- Line1, CCF and mitochondrial. What’s the relationship between them?

First paper of 2024 🚨: Macrophages coordinate healing in aneurysms through VEGF! Four commercial devices were tested - and they look different when you get up close and personal 👀 We asked: how does this change immune healing in aneurysms? Paper: t.ly/WKDPU

I feel like I could hear Ashi, Melissa B Davis, PhD, Shine Chang, and so many other scientists I look up to saying those words to junior scientists rising up the ranks: walk into a room as if we are all in there with you, but that means we expect you to not be silent ✊🏾🔥

Bit late on this (was published end of last year) but came across this interesting paper eLife - the journal using chatGPT to look at bias in peer review language based on gender, i.e. what was the tone of the review? Ans: people are ruder to women. Neat study. elifesciences.org/articles/90230
