It was a great first day back. From team building activities, going over our goals for the year, and motivational videos, the staff enjoyed being back!

We had a wonderful Veterans Day program today. Thanks to our own, Specialist Stephanie Taylor for being our speaker for this special occasion. Our 2nd grade performance was awesome thanks to Mr. Adzima and Mrs. Loposser. Thank you Veterans for your service!

Thank you St Paul Presbyterian Church, Mt Harmony Baptist Church and Kroger Fountain City for making Thanksgiving possible for over 40 families in the Sunnyview/Chilhowee community!!!

Had a wonderful Grandparents Day program for our PreK and Kindergarten students. Over 200 people in attendance today.

Productive day with grade level planning and school-wide expectations and structures and routines that teachers have in classroom, then gallery walk with areas in the school!!

What a great day for our students to have Austin-East class of 1972 present the Black History Museum to them, and CMA principal Charlene Lewis and staff to read to our students to kickoff Read Across America!
