CTE Teacher highlight: Coach Horton!! She attended Columbia University. It is her first year at SHS, where teaches business courses and is the head girls soccer coach. She also enjoys writing poetry!

CTE Teacher Highlight: Coach C! It’s her 4th year here at SHS, where she teaches health science courses and is our girls athletic trainer. She received her degrees from the University of Wisconsin and Southern Methodist University. Interesting fact: She cannot ride a bike.

CTE Teacher Highlight: Ms. O’Neill. This is Ms. O’Neill’s first year in Sunnyvale, where she teaches design and multimedia courses. She received her degree from the University of North Texas. Fun fact: she has been skiing in 5 different states and hopes to add another soon!

CTE Teacher Spotlight: Coach V! She attended Waldorf University. This is Coach V’s second year teaching and first in Sunnyvale. She teaches Career Pathways and is the head volleyball coach at the middle school. Random fact: her favorite food is pickles!

CTE Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Stanfill. This is Mrs. Stanfill’s first year in Sunnyvale and second in education. Before joining education, she spent twelve years as a respiratory therapist. She uses her expertise to teach Health Science her at SHS. Sunnyvale ISD

CTE Teacher Spotlight: Coach Geer. Coach Geer is a proud Texas A&M graduate. This is his second year in Sunnyvale and 10th in education. He currently teaches financial mathematics, PE, and is the head baseball coach. He loves that he and his wife are able to teach at SISD!

CTE Teacher Highlight: Landry Finch! Mr. Finch attended Baylor University and teaches our Computer Science courses. He grew up in Sunnyvale and is glad to be back in the district. Mr. Finch loves movies and considers himself somewhat of a movie buff.

CTE Teacher Spotlight: Coach Taylor! Coach Taylor attended Stephen F. Austin University. He has been with Sunnyvale for 13 years, and currently teaches business courses and is a football coach. Fun fact: Coach Taylor owns Tropical Smoothie in Forney! Sunnyvale ISD SHS Raider Football

CTE Teacher Spotlight: Becky Fisher! Mrs. Fisher attended Stephen F. Austin University. She teaches Design and Multimedia courses. Mrs. Fisher has been with SISD for 34 years! She has seen us grow from a single building K-8 to a district with 4 campuses and 2,100+ students!

CTE Teacher Spotlight: Michell Fredericksen! Mrs. Fredericksen is a proud Texas Aggie. This is her 1st year in Sunnyvale and 15th in education. Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Fredericksen was an engineer for 12 years. #CTEmonth Sunnyvale ISD

CTE Teacher Profile: Spenser Adams! Mr. Adams received degrees from Tarleton State University. For the past 12 years, he has proudly taught our Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources courses. Fun fact: Mr. Adams’ wife is giving birth to their second baby girl tomorrow!
