When dogs, just like people, are learning new things in their lives, they develop stress. When this happens, we move our dogs to The Place Command. Once the mind becomes relaxed, the training goes smoother, the dog makes less mistakes. That builds Confidence! #sunkak9training

After allowing Nashville to Calm his mind on the Place Command, we see a significant improvement in what he has learned in just 2 weeks. Nash knows his commands, it's just his over active mind keeps him from being able to focus peacefully. #sunkak9training #goldenretriever

Nashville mirrors his human by becoming excited. It does not take much to raise his mental energy. This causes him to have difficulty staying focused. He makes a few minor mistakes due to his mind becoming too busy. We move him to the Place Command to help him Calm His Mind.
