It's been a day of getting to know my gunning etching press - first pass on a plate that took hours to etch and I'm pretty pleased.. It's a wonderful machine!

Next Monday Society of Graphic Fine Art 103rd Annual Exhibition starts mallgalleries until 16th March. The mark making in the show is second to none, both inspiring me and making me feel very humble. So pleased to be part of it. Well worth a visit.

A bit news: I've been made a full member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art! Wow! As an Associate Member I discovered a wonderful, talented group of artists who are a source of endless inspiration + support. I am so happy to be accepted fully into their society. How lucky am I?

This time last year the Center of Mathematical Sciences + Applications at Harvard University got in touch wanting to use this murmuration for a program in machine learning. Apparently the concept of murmurations has some application in mathematical theory. How cool is that?!

Such a great start to @devonopenstudios this weekend. So many lovely lovely people came out in torrential downpours to open the studio and each day has brought visitors from all over Devon. I'm opening again next Friday for the weekend. Do come along if you can.
