A lot of people don’t know this but Sonic 3D wasn’t intended to be released in Japan. The Mega Drive wasn’t successful over there so there was no logic in releasing it. Japan eventually got the Saturn port in 1999, one year AFTER Sonic Adventure. Fans must’ve been puzzled 😅
