Vintage photos of Stoneham's horse drawn 1896 Abbott Downing hose wagon and horse drawn 1886 T.T. Marston hose wagon. The fire station was built in 1916 and operated with horse drawn fire companies in it's early days until the horses could be replaced by motorized apparatus.
