Gillian Keegan says she wants a more ‘sustainable’ teacher pay rise than in the last 2 years. She’s suggested a meagre 1.2% to the STRB! Last year’s 6.5%, squeezed out of her by collective action, barely matched inflation –despite being the biggest pay rise for decades.
