Saw this on the way to a talk in Whitworth this afternoon. The Glen #Railway Tunnels at Waterfoot were on the #Rawtenstall to #Bacup line. The left one opened 1852, the right 1881; both were closed and blocked up 1969 - one re-opened as a public right of way in 2019. #Lancashire
