It's exciting to see that the City will use "efficiencies" to make up the $7.5 million operational shortfall this year, and we will end the year with a forecast $0.2 million in the FSR, about 0.3% of what's require. Strong financial leadership. clkapps.winnipeg.ca/DMIS/permalink…

A great article in the freep about the important advocacy work through the green action centre and bike Winnipeg. I’ve seen BEST in action and it’s pure joy seeing a teen learn to ride a bike for the first time. winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/2…

We brought our bike rack inside for you. Introducing our BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) Summer deal! Bring your bike down, lock it to our indoor bike rack-save 25% on a $20 game card! Did you know there is a bike lane down St Matthews connecting to the Yellow Ribbon Greenway Trail!

Search "Winnipeg Borys" on Twitter and you'll find a growing legacy of things my sister Hazel Borys & Stephen Borys are doing for their adopted hometown. So proud of them! But here's the best part: we can all aspire to be like that where we are. Local isn't yokel; it's where it's at.

My favourite part of #Winnipeg’s Climate Action Plan. 7 years from now, 2 council terms. Will our current councillors get us there? The worlds on fire and we’re widening roads.

Logged into X after almost a full year just to share this… Winnipeg’s EPC approved the $ 200 million widening of Route 90 because it would save people ~15 seconds per trip… People who willingly waste hours standing in line for donuts. reddit.com/r/Winnipeg/s/6…

Not here much anymore, thanks Elon, but love sharing this graph of child pedestrian deaths. Be safe out there trick or treaters. And if you are driving tonight, slow down. Image from The Washington Post.

We have a few of these buildings in our neighbourhood. Unfortunately, they have all been converted to residential space and I’ll be impossible to revert to commercial.

Very near 30 years of continuous growth in the City of Winnipeg, but we continuously hear we need to make more and more cuts. Why? I've been putting it off, but I'm going to start writing again. And the first topic is going to be about how our growth actually makes us poorer.
