For part of my teens our next door neighbour was a Marine fan & later a committee member. When I wasn't watching Tranmere ,or occasionally Everton, I'd get the train to Crosby to watch Marine when Roly was manager I still try to watch them when they're playing in the East Mids

A short trip to Radford FC last night for UCL Div 1 clash with FCV Grace Dieu . At 2-0 down I didn't see Raddy getting back in it but a strong finish saw the game finish all square. It was a bit cold so only took a compact camera along.

Might be a good addition to the Metro network one day but in the short term perhaps a trial running a normal train service more frequently It would certainly be a massive help on Whit Friday as it would make several of the brass band contests much accessible from a wider area
