Our DT project this week has been full of excitement as Team Mars designed their own fire engines. They brought their ideas to life in our wonderful art room, which is a space they always enjoy working in. The concentration and enthusiasm today was fantastic.

There’s something special about gathering together for a story. The library gives us a cosy space to listen, imagine and learn. Team Mars were completely captivated today. Moments like these make reading truly magical! A lovely ending to the week!

Tonight’s writing moderation focused on what it really takes to challenge our young writers to reach Greater Depth, sharpening success criteria, unpicking exemplars, and identifying the next steps that stretch thinking and craft. Proud of the professional curiosity in the room.

Am I the only one being contacted by senior leaders of schools Ofsted inspected last week who have major concerns about the Fwk and its negative impact? These comments are coming from schools who volunteered.
