Her budget failed to deliver on key priorities, the most significant being youth employment. The City of Toronto must do better if it truly cares about fostering safer communities and providing equitable opportunities for its youth. #TOYouth

1 in 8 deputants at the City Budget Consultations were youth. 1 in 7 participants engaged in the City’s Pre-Budget Consultation were youth. TYC is disappointed that the Budget only provides an additional 8 jobs for youth. This will not lead to a safer & more prosperous Toronto.
