Key messages for us at Rugby Knowledge Exchange being involving the athlete in decision making regarding injury mitigation strategies and a focus on female athlete health - inspired and ready to continue our work Welsh Injury Surveillance in Girls Youth Rugby into next season๐


An excellent couple of days in Edinburgh for the UKCCIIS - IOC Research Centre of Excellence inaugural conference. Fantastic variety of speakers and interests, providing myself with some important perspectives particularly in the implementation of behaviour change in concussion reporting


Great talks by both Carly McKay and @EvertVerhagen during UKCCIIS - IOC Research Centre of Excellence conference. Highlighting the importance of employing a holistic approach to keep the athlete at the centre of injury prevention interventions, and in understanding human factors and their effect on behaviour change
