An amazing concert at Greyfriars Kirk on Friday evening as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to a sell-out audience of over 300 guests! Our young musicians were fabulous under the wonderful Sian Edwards, and our soloist, Ryan Corbett had us mesmerised again, bravo!

Brilliant performance of a fantastic programme! Well done to Charlotte V (S6) who was playing violin with the orchestra. She's also heading through to Glasgow to take part in the RCS strings week next week! 🎶🎻🌟

Yesterday saw the first rehearsal of our newly formed String Quartet for some of our more advanced string players! 🎶🎻Also some lovely freshly baked rolls from violinist Zara A (S2) which I was lucky enough to sample for lunch 😋

Our annual Awards Ceremony was held on Wed eve with lots of performances from various musicians before and during the event. Delighted to award 16 of our pupils, who sat their Trinity Music Exams in June, with their certificates too - fantastic achievements from them all! 🎶🌟

Join us on Fri 29th Nov St David's HS for a Farewell Ceilidh for Mr MacDonald! We'll also be raising funds for a new sound mixing desk for concerts and musicals. Our Ceilidh Band have been working super hard and have some great tunes lined up for the night! 🎶🎻🥁🎸
