You’d expect a booksale on behalf of St Botolph, patron saint of travellers, to be well equipped with travel guides. Come and have a look at our booksale on Saturday 11-4.30pm. Coffee, tea and cakes too.

Glad to see the draft of the latest St Botolph's service sheet, inc. another outing for the Athanasian Creed (as is proper) on Whitsunday, plus a special service for Restoration Day. For Anglicanism of the sort that essentially remains unaltered since 1662, come to StBotolph

We had our annual parish church meeting at StBotolph on Sunday. Our parish electoral roll up to 57 from 51 (and 45 the year before). Congregations averaging around 50. Income up. If you give people traditional worship, BCP liturgy and orthodox preaching, they will come.

The new crime fiction shop in Cambridge, due to open in about a fortnight, is shaping up nicely... You can come & buy some golden age detective novels and visit St Botolph's at the same time! Then go for tea and cake at Fitzbillies (all within a 20 seconds walk of each other)

Slightly stunned to see that in the 4 months since 25 February we have had 35,000 visitors to St Botolph’s. Around 300 people a day to admire the Bodley restoration, the Kempe and Tancock stained glass, the Laudian font and the wonderful facsimiles from the Parker Library.

A year ago today we set up a people counter and now we are astonished and grateful to find we had 101,445 visitors to St Botolph’s in the last 12 months. Some for services, some for prayer, some for music and some just to look around. This was our Carol Service.

One of the things to come out of Covid lockdown was these wonderful kneelers. And still increasing in number so a further dedication on Easter Day and more to come!
