Anne of Green Gables is actually very well-known in Japan, and has arguably influenced anime and the like throughout its history. Perhaps that’s why “Anne Shirley” seems to fit right in with the anime of today.

So, I've started Wuthering Waves. Overall it's been a lot of fun so far; definitely has Genshin vibes but with its own flavor. More importantly, it has Phoebe. Who is practically Cardcaptor Sakura. So naturally I had to pull for her... and I got her! youtube.com/watch?v=h05YzR…

So a tennis player insulted her opponent after losing the game, because her opponent didn’t apologize after hitting a lucky net shot (hits the net and drops into the other side). She wouldn’t make it five minutes into a game of Mario Party.

My time in Mario Kart World so far has been pretty much exactly what I expected: 10% racing, 90% mucking around in Free Roam.

In light of recent events, I'm reminded of a post I wrote for Beneath the Tangles 9 years ago on Invaders of the Rokujouma, about former enemies becoming friends and allies. Now, more than ever, we need to stop seeing those with different views as "enemies". beneaththetangles.com/2016/02/02/the…

I think it would be absolutely hilarious if the Mega Dimensions DLC for Pokemon Legends Z-A turns out to just be a remake of Pokemon X/Y.

Apparently you can create your own Wordle puzzles now, so... This is in honor of the newly revealed Mega Chimecho. Does the word have something to do with that? Perhaps. nytimes.com/games/create/w…

Not sure how long I'll do these "custom Wordle of the day" for but here's another one to try out, with a word that probably won't be used for an official Wordle: nytimes.com/games/create/w…

So I did some 6-letter words with the NYT custom Wordles, but they can also be 4-letter words. Are those easier because they're shorter, or harder because of more possibilities and you get less info per guess? Why not try one out: nytimes.com/games/create/w…

*names movie after Super Mario Galaxy* *poster is based on a locale from Super Mario Odyssey* I mean, I thought this part of the trailer was awesome, but using it as a poster image is definitely a bit weird.

Can't believe Nintendo dropped Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance onto the Switch 2 Online Gamecube Classics selection earlier this month and just... never said anything about it.

It’s up to Ike and his small band of soldiers-for-hire to restore peace to the seven kingdoms in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, available now on #NintendoSwitch2 for #NintendoSwitchOnline + Expansion Pack members.

Now that it's officially okay to do Super Bowl halftime shows in a non-English language, I vote for next year's halftime show to be BTS, Blackpink, Rosé, or some other major K-pop performer. Or to be really spicy, Hololive. (Disclaimer: this post is meant as a joke.)
