I know everyone is dunking on this, but I’m going to add on. Last year Gannett laid off at least 600 ppl and stopped filling 400 jobs. People had to wait almost 2 months for their severance, which btw was capped at 26 years. Local this, local that. Where are the priorities?

I called my doctors office earlier today to make an appointment & when the receptionist answered the phone without thinking I went “Hi my name is Brenna Smith and I’m a reporter with The Baltimore Banner” & she just went “Ok. Good for you.” Journalism has ruined me 😂😂😂

Had a great time seeing this awesome one-man show about the work and life of Mike Royko. My mom and I were lucky enough to see it on the last day of its initial run, but it's coming back in November for six weeks. Go see it!

Since I'm technically no longer a reporter, I hope those who voted based on egg prices at the expense of basic humanity have the decency to feel ashamed when they inevitably have egg all over their faces because this election result is an embarrassment.
