In the hunt for more weight or more reps - never sacrifice form, technique, or range of motion. If you do 5 squats to parallel and 3 squats above parallel that is not 8 reps. It’s 5 reps. If you do 8 deadhang pull ups and 2 pull ups 3/4 of the way down that is not 10

If you're a male and you're older than 16, you should be able to bench 135 for reps. If you're an adult and you're so weak you can't handle even that, you'll have a tough time with aches and pains as you age. Get in the gym.
