And of course, like every corrupt editor/fraud P. Hemachandra Reddy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center didn't do it just once! He edited a second paper for his brother and also reviewed a paper for his brother! Frontiers. His own work is very dubious as well: pubpeer.com/search?q=P.+He…

Two more retractions for major #papermill #fraud Jasti S. Rao! The Retraction Watch leaderboard will need another update! So many retractions and yet so many more to come! One can only wonder what he is doing now, enjoying his retirement?

11 papers (4 shown here) in brian lucey (Trinity Business School) his special issue from the Elsevier journal Energy Economics seem to have a conflict of interest. Did B. Lucey really edit 11 papers for his coauthors? Prof Dr Richard S.J. Tol MAE sciencedirect.com/special-issue/…

The Retraction Watch leaderboard has been updated! The #papermill #fraud Jasti S Rao now has 35 retractions, but many more to come most likely! Exciting times for all these frauds! Who will rise or enter the ranks in the (near) future?

The #papermill #fraud S. Muthu gets 4 retractions for his BS! He has published over 400 papers and most are papermill junk! How many retractions will he ultimately have? Publishers need to wake up!

It's really unacceptable that it took 5 years (!!) to get Jasti Rao his papers retracted. Understandable they wanted to look at the 'totality' of the problem, there is however no reason why they couldn't have retracted paper per paper. Springer Nature retractionwatch.com/2025/05/02/jas…

Let's hope this PhD will not just limit itself to an 'academic' view on the problem because someone writing about how bad it is, is pretty pointless. Debate all you want, but it won't do much. A more agressive/active approach is needed, but I fear for it. Wiley

A reminder on the Ashok Pandey story! Do not forget that this #fraud from CSIR-IITR also did the same in other journals! His total # of retractions should/will be a lot higher! Still a lot of fraud to be retracted! When Elsevier (other publishers) retract his other crap?
