This Friday, Thibaut, our first group member (who joined in 2017 when the group was formed) successfully defended his PhD thesis ! Congratulations to Dr. Gallet and thanks to the PhD jury: Phillip Dale, Philip Schulz (Philip Schulz), Mael Guennou and Thomas Unold (Thomas Unold's Lab)

In collaboration with Q CELLS we have shown that industrial, cost-efficient silicon solar cells are viable for tandems with 28.7% efficiency. Through the 30% barrier - twice! Our tandem team together with colleagues CSEM in Neuchâtel have developed two highly efficient perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells with 30.9% and 31.3%, respectively, independently certified NREL. Read more: bit.ly/3yMKFuc
