🌴 Holidays do take their toll on performance, huh? After a few days off, I noticed the usual dip in my strength metrics. Looks like those lazy days are catching up with me. 🥲

📉 It’s not just in my head… the numbers are confirming it. My squat velocity has dropped, and my performance is about 10% lower than usual. Time to adjust and stay smart.

🏋️‍♂️ Even with the fatigue, I chose 70 kg today because I’m still hitting my usual velocity range (around 0.7–0.65 m/s). It’s the same effort as other days, even though I'm not feeling 100%.

How much will I lose after a week off? — This is a question I frequently encounter. The short answer: I don’t have a precise value, but we can MEASURE it. Based on my personal data, after a week of detraining, I observed a 15% reduction in vertical jump performance. Yes, 15%. 📉

I’ve got mixed feelings looking at this power graph for my squat Spleeft App 🏋️ It's a bit of a reality check – I’m not where I was at my peak, but it’s also a reminder of how normal performance fluctuations are. We all have those periods of decline, but they’re often temporary.

Improving week by week with VBT and Spleeft App 💪🏼 The key isn’t lifting more weight, but moving the same weight FASTER. Consistent gains in bar velocity with 70 kg show true progress, proving that velocity-based training is all about precision.

👀 Want to know how a coach give immediate & precise feedback to their athlete thanks to Spleeft App? 🚨 Here’s the feedback I gave to my athlete. He just created his load-velocity profile for squats and leg press, and now we’re making key decisions about his training plan.👇

10 days apart, and the max jump height is still 30.5cm vs. 30.4cm… Reliability or lack of progress? 🥲🤣 Whether it's velocity or jump height, with Spleeft, you can trust the data. Consistency = reliability! 📊💯 The data doesn’t lie! #VBT #SmartTraining #Spleeft

🤔 What’s behind this rollercoaster of performance? You can see a lot of fluctuation, but here’s the thing — order matters. That high spike? It was on my 3rd set, a speed PR. Spleeft App 🏋️♂️ #VBT #TrainingInsights

🔥 Pro tip: Use velocity loss as your rep limiter—the % drop from your fastest rep to the last. Set a cap (e.g., 5%). With a 5% cap you’ll usually get ~6–7 quality reps, then stop. If you hit 6–7 reps without reaching 5% loss, the load is too light—add weight. #VBT #TrainingTips

Be cautious when interpreting readiness—don’t mistake fatigue for lack of activation. Screenshots from my right-leg split squat: first vs. last set. I progressively “woke up” through the sets, even after my usual warm-up. Spleeft App

Back to the grind after the holidays with Spleeft App! 💪 Starting my new season with 55% of my 1RM until I get back to full strength. It’s all about rebuilding gradually without rushing the process. VBT lets me track velocity, not just weight. #VBT #StrengthTraining #Recovery
