Great weekend competing at the regional meet! Really proud of our kids that came and put it all on the line! Congratulations Anna, Citlali, Star, Adan, and Aislee!! We do have a 3rd place medalist! Aislee Bynum will be the alternate for the state meet with his jump of 6’2”!

This is why I do what I do! Getting to celebrate accomplishments with kids who work their butts off! He set goals of going sub 40 in the 300 hurdles and having a shot at state… well he hit the first goal at district and with a big PR today of 39.11, he is headed to Austin!!

From pulling this kid out of the basketball gym his sophomore year because I knew he could be a good high jumper, to getting to witness him become a state champ!! Hard work has paid off and he deserves all the praise! Also a big hats off to Chad Perry, Kinesiology (M.S.), the GOAT!! Congrats coach!

Can’t explain how proud I am of these two! Had the privilege of getting to coach both of them the last two years and today I got to watch them excel at the highest level! Anna and Aislee exemplify what it means when hard work pays off! Congrats to the GOAT coach Chad Perry, Kinesiology (M.S.)!
